First of all I don’t have a husband, I have a wife. Secondly I live in a part of California where we don’t do snow unless I drive up the mountain. But I used to live in Chicago, and was there in 2011 when we had a monumental snow storm that resulted in me shoveling out the building and my car, and being asked about my husband.
There’s been a lot of horrible weather in the US this season, and I happened to look at my search engine terms (that is, terms people used in Google to find my site), and got “should husbands shovel snow” as an item for February 11th.
I really just can’t even…
Should your husband shovel snow? Sure. He should do his part of the chores around the house! But you shouldn’t wait for him to do it if you’re able to. You should shovel the snow too if you’re physically capable. So should your kids. Everyone should chip in!
