Why I Volunteer

Someone recently asked why I volunteer my time to help people.  It’s because sometimes you get thank you notes like this:

I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS PLUGIN MY WHOLE LIFE. WHERE THE EFF HAS IT BEEN?! I’VE GOOGLED THE JUNK OUT OF THIS MOTHER.

Thank you for improving my quality of life. I hope that you will fall off a cliff, only to be snatched out of the air at the last second by a friendly dragon-thing (like in Avatar), and carried off to a magical land where you can connect your tail with a tentacle tree and commune telepathically with nature, because then you will feel like I do right now.

You always do your best for us this side of the water and sometimes it’s not possible for you to make the videos accessable to everyone but it’s not from lack of trying on your part. I can only speak for myself but if they gave out Hollywood Stars for dedication to a single actor and run a site dedicated to that person for as long as you have you would have had one along time ago. ;-) You are a special kind of person, one that doesn’t come along often. We are lucky to have you running this site. Thank you.

Seriously.  Just the ways people say thanks makes my day.
