That’s a fair question isn’t it? Do you pan-up on the attractive men in suits? What about the unattractive ones? I get that award shows are for people to look pretty while praising each other but sometimes the gender disparity in treatment gets to me. How come women must know who they’re wearing, and two women in the same outfit is anathema?
I think one awards show, all the women in each category should wear the same dress. I bet Tina Fey and Amy Poehler would back that one.
