I love cookies. But I wanted something for the long Christmas weekend that would last and be perfect for breakfast. This did not last. I mean that in the good way. We inhaled them, and so did the guests. I had to make more.
This page of the cookbook is stained and marred from my various attempts. This is, as the author says, neither quick nor easy, but oh man is it worth it. No joke, if you like chocolate, you will love this. If you don’t, make it with a cinnamon or almond paste filling.
The two two little ones were half-sized tradional. The big one was the way it was ‘supposed’ to be made. I liked the little guys better. The round thing is called “What the hell am I going to do with the leftovers?”
In the spirit of the holidays, I tried to make it look like the Millennium Falcon.
