After returning from WordCamp San Francisco, Ptah Dunbar was involved in a near fatal accident on his motorcycle.

Given that he was legally declared dead, this may qualify as a fatal accident.  Ptah is now alive and suffering the loss of sight in his left eye.  And like many people, has no insurance.  If you can donate just a little to Get Well Ptah, or even donate blood, the WordPress community would appreciate it.
