Chetna made these on GBBO. Her’s, obviously, look better. Mine are slight different because I accidentally wrapped them like Luis did his empeñadas in that episode. I blame faulty memory and a bad picture in the book.
For mine, instead of mango powder, I chopped up half a mango and tossed it in with the lentils as I cooked them down. I also used mangos instead of figs in the chutney sauce, which was absolutely the right call.
Next time I’ll cook them longer, too. The dough on Half was underdone.
